The Texas Environmental Grantmakers Group will have its next meeting on Friday, January 28, 2011, from 11am to 2pm at the Harte Institute for Gulf of Mexico Studies, 6300 Ocean Drive, in Corpus Christi. The discussion will concern the state of the Gulf, and its restoration efforts. Speakers will include Laura Huffman, Paul Montagna and David Yoskowitz. Ms Huffman is Executive Director of the Texas Nature Conservancy; Dr. Montagna is Chair for Ecosystems and Modeling at the Harte Institute, while Dr. Yoskowitz is the Institute's Chair for Socio-Economics.
